What a great example of real life “application” over simply “talking” about how we should/could share God’s love with others. I am encouraged by your friends boldness in her faith.

Seeking Disciple: My guess is that Dr. Tiller attended a church that shared his values; therefore, they would not have seen a need for “church discipline.” Furthermore, that church would have had to accept the authority of Scripture and many mainline denominations and clergy-members do not.

I agree that the murder of Dr. Tiller is not justified and that is no solution for the pro-life movement (of which I am proud to belong). Yet it is ironic that Dr. Tiller was at his Lutheran church being allowed to ursher. What if Dr. Tiller’s Lutheran Church would have practiced biblical church discipline and discipleship and sought to correct Dr. Tiller? Would he not be alive today along with millions of babies that he murdered?

Thank you for your last couple blogs about loving sinners. We are all born into sin and have no hope without Christ Jesus. How do we expect an unbelieving world to believe in GOD if we respond in hateful/mean ways? GOD loves us all and wants no one to perish. So may we always remember to respond in a loving way to those that are in opposition to HIM. Whether pro-choice or homosexual or whatever, they are all people that Jesus died for! Thanks again for the reminders.
